INGREDIENTS REQUIRED:
Turmeric powder (Haldi)
Carmon seeds (Ajwain)
Cloves (Laung)
Tulsi leaves (Holy basil)
Ginger (Adrak)
Black Pepper (Kali Mirch)
Steps:
1. Take 1 glass of water (250 ml) in the sauce pan
2. Now add 1/2 tablespoon of Ajwain in it
3. Add 5-6 pieces of Laung.
4. Add 5-6 pieces of black pepper into the water
5. Take 1/2 tablespoon of turmeric powder and add into the water
6. Take 5-6 tulsi leaves and add this into the water
7. Add small piece of ginger into the mixture
8. Boil the mixture and drink the mixture after it becomes lukewarm
This mixture has many advantages. It is good for immune system, improves digestive system, prevents cancer, reduces constipation, reduces heart disease risk factors, improves diabetic control, reduces skin problems.
2. Beetroot Juice

INGREDIENTS REQUIRED:
1 Carrot (medium)
1 Apple
1 beetroot (medium)
Handful of fresh mint
Ginger (approx. 3cm cube)
Steps:
Place all the ingredients in the juicer and serve the freshly prepared juice with a slice of lemon on the top of glass. The juice is very rich in Vitamin C, has powerful antioxidants that lower risk of heart disease and will also boost your Immune System.
3. Broccoli Grape Salad

INGREDIENTS REQUIRED:
Chopped Onion (half cup)
Small broccoli florets (3.5 cups)
Greek Yogurt (1/4 cup)
Honey (1.5 tablespoon)
Vinegar (1.5 tablespoon)
Mayonnaise (3 tablespoon)
Salt (1/2 teaspoon)
Almonds (1/4 cup)
Black pepper (1/4 teaspoon)
Red Grapes (1 Cup)
Steps:
1. Firstly boil the water and add broccoli and onion to it.
2. Cook for about two minutes until broccoli is bright green and tender crisp.
3. Take the vegetables out and put them instantly to the ice water for about two minutes.
4. Now add yogurt, mayonnaise, vinegar, honey, salt and pepper in a bowl.
5. Add broccoli mixture, grapes and almonds to it and serve immediately.
This salad contains Anti-oxidants, fibers, contains many bio active compounds that will reduce inflammation in your body tissues, protects against cancer, reduces constipation etc.
4. Green Tea Smoothie

INGREDIENTS REQUIRED:
Grapes (3 cups)
Baby Spinach (2 cups)
Brewed green Tea (a tea made with twice amount of tea than regular) (1.5 cups)
1 ripe Avocado (medium)
Honey (2 teaspoon)
Combine all the ingredients in the blender and blend them until smooth. Serve immediately and boost your immune system.
Steps:
It is rich in polyphenols, which help in reducing inflammation and helps to fight cancer. It also contains many bio-active compounds, anti-oxidants and helps in fat burning by boosting metabolism rate. It helps to reduce risk of diabetes and insures proper functioning of brain cells.
5. Special Sweet Potato Chickpea Soup

INGREDIENTS REQUIRED:
1 Chopped Onion
4 Sweet potatoes (peeled)
Olive/coconut oil (2 tablespoon)
400g cooked Chickpeas (chana)
Ginger (2cm)
600ml vegetable stock/water
Turmeric powder (1 teaspoon)
1 clove of garlic (crushed)
Salt and black pepper
Steps:
1. Take onion, garlic and ginger in the pan and quickly fry them for 2 minutes.
2. Add turmeric, sweet potatoes and stock to it and bring them to boil.
3. Reduce the heat to low and simmer with the lid for 30 minutes .Add salt and pepper to taste.
4. When the potatoes becomes soft, blend the soup until smooth.
5. After blending add chickpeas and serve it.
The soup is very helpful in boosting your immune system. As sweet potatoes is full of beta carotene and vitamin A .Moreover the antioxidants found in sweet potatoes not only good for immune system but also for your heart, teeth and vision. Turmeric and ginger reduces inflammation. Chickpeas are good source of protein and helps in giving necessary carbohydrates to the body.

Apart from this, you can also add green veggies like broccoli, spinach etc. Add 5 almonds to your daily diet. Other things that benefit includes blueberries, Ginger, Garlic, Yogurt, Fish etc.
Also, Devote at least 20-25 minutes to exercise everyday or a minimum of thrice a week.
